Jacques Blot (French, 1885-1960)

Biography

Jacques Blot was a French artist, son of the art dealer Eugène Blot. Alongside running a gallery, Blot painted portraits, genre scenes, landscapes of Brittany, and the banks of the Seine.

He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Indépendants in Paris from 1906 onwards, at the Salon d'Automne from 1909, and at the Salon des Tuileries from 1923 to 1929.
